2010 Safe Kids Fair Scheduled
Joining Forces to Make Utah Kids Safer
(Salt Lake County, UT) - The Zero Fatalities - Safe Kids Fair will be held February 26th and 27th at the South Towne Expo Center (9575 South State Street, Sandy). This is a free event for the public.
The Safe Kids Salt Lake County Coalition has joined forces with Clear Channel Radio and Zero Fatalities to bring education and empowerment to Utah's children. This interactive and fun-filled two-day event empowers children to make the safest choices throughout their developing years. Kids can participate in over 100 safety-themed booths and activities which include fire safety, police safety, helmet safety, bike rodeos, carseat information and Spot the Tot.
This year's special guest will be Batman, The Dark Knight. Batman will do an on-stage presentation on Saturday, February 27th at 11:30am, 1:45pm and 4:00pm.
Accidental childhood injuries are the leading killer of children 0 to 14 years old. Safe Kids Salt Lake County continues its mission to make Salt Lake Valley a safer place for children through education at school, home and their community.
